Instant Mochi Mix Recipe

Instant Mochi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 100g MF-318 Instant Mochi Mix
  • 200ml Milk
  • 20g Sugar
  • 10g Butter

Instructions:

1. Mix Ingredients

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine Instant Mochi Mix, milk, and sugar. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and lump-free.

2. Cook the Mochi

  • Microwave Method: Microwave the bowl on high for 5 minutes. 
  • Steaming Method: Pour the mixture into a heatproof dish and steam for 15-20 minutes.

3. Add Butter and Knead
Once the mochi is cooked, let it cool slightly until it’s warm but not too hot to handle. Add butter to the mochi dough, and knead the butter into the dough thoroughly, repeating until it’s smooth and elastic.

 

4. Shape and Serve:
Once smooth, the mochi is ready to be shaped. You can cut it into pieces or form it into balls. Fill with Ice cream, cream, or your favorite fruit! Enjoy!


Yield:

This recipe yields 8-10 mochi balls.
