Deep-Fried Chewy Bread with Meat Floss


70 g Mochi Foods Mochi Bread mix

30 g high protein flour

5 g caster sugar

40 g ice water

20 g egg

20 g butter


1. Put all ingredients into the mixing bowl. Mix on low speed for 1 minute, then on medium speed for another minute until the dough is smooth. 

2. Let the dough rest for 5-10 minutes.

3. Cut and roll the dough into balls of 15 g each. 

4. Fry the dough in hot oil of 180°C for about 5 minutes or until golden. 

5. Skewer four balls onto a stick, brush on mayonnaise, and coat in meat floss.
