Mochi Foods™ Mochi Beignet

INGREDIENTS

225g Mochi Foods™ Mochi Bread mix

25g Flour

5g Milk Powder

75g Water

2 Small Eggs

37g Vegetable Oil

40g powdered sugar


INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a bowl, combine the Mochi foods mix, flour, milk powder, water, eggs, and vegetable oil. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer with a paddle attachment, mix for 1 minute.

2. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix for an additional 2 minutes.

3. On a lightly greased surface, knead the dough for 1 minute and shape it into a ball.

4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll into balls. Slightly flatten.

5. Fry the mochi balls in hot oil until golden and slightly crispy on the outside.

6. Place on a paper towel and let cool for 5 minutes.

7. Powder sugar on top of the warm beignets and enjoy!
